Founder & President of Come Up Higher and Lead Faculty at Come Up Higher Music School

David Opeyemi is the founder and president of Come Up Higher Music and the lead faculty at Come Up Higher Music School. David brings to CUHMusic years of leadership experience in Campus Fellowship, Young Adults Ministries, Information Technology, and over seven years as a pastor. David is burdened with the mandate of raising generations of people that fear God and that are filed with His power. Driven by this vision, David wants to see revival breakforth in the nations of the earth, people liberated from all satanic bondages, and young talents discovered for Christ and nation development. A prolific author, song composer, and producer, David empowers the Come Up Higher Music community to grow and make a positive impact in their communities

Abiola Opeyemi –

 Vice President of Come Up Higher and Lead Administrator

Abiola Opeyemi is the vice president and lead administrator of Come Up Higher Music. A passionate lover of God and people, Abiola brings to CUHMusic years of experience in professional teaching and pastoral responsibility. She combines her teaching and leadership acumen to impact young people spiritually and academically. With a strong focus on people development, Abiola is dedicated to guiding the next generation in their faith and empowering them to make a positive difference in their communities.

Dr. Philips Francis, Brass Instructor

Admission Coordinator I

Phillips is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a trumpet player with over 15 years of experience. He plays for COME UP HIGHER MUSIC and his church’s worship team, while also coordinating the JESUS HOUSE RECITAL, a program designed to help young instrumentalists develop their musical talents for God’s glory. His mission is to inspire children to use their skills to honor Jesus. Phillips enjoys listening to gospel music and spending quality time with his family. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics.

Joseph Olude, Piano Instructor

Joseph Olude –

Admission Coordinator I

Joseph is an experienced keyboardist with over a decade of playing Christian music. He began playing the keyboard as a way to express his love and devotion to God and is passionate about sharing this knowledge with his students. Joseph focuses on developing his students’ ability to play intuitively by honing their musical ear, tailoring each lesson to their individual level in a fun and engaging way. He is dedicated to guiding students on their exciting musical journey.

Samuel Ogunsola –

Digital and Innovation

Samuel Ogunsola is a skilled videographer and graphic designer with a passion for visual storytelling. With years of experience in music video production and graphic design, Samuel is proficient in tools like DaVinci Resolve, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva. His hands-on approach fosters creativity, empowering students to create impactful visuals and succeed in the music industry. In addition to his role at Come Up Higher, Samuel is a 5th-year doctoral student and Vanier Scholar at the University of Manitoba.
